News Associates chosen to launch and deliver The Times Summer Academy
News Associates is delighted to have teamed up with The Times to deliver their inaugural Summer Academy.
The unique week-long programme hosted in the News UK building in London Bridge this August will be jam-packed with journalism masterclasses, Q&As and discussions with writers.
The academy will include talks from senior journalists and editorial executives from The Times, The Sunday Times and Times Radio as well as tours of newsrooms and studios where you can see award-winning journalism in action.
From August 14-18, you will cover story sourcing, news and feature writing, journalism ethics, broadcast journalism and photography, and much more – all taught by News Associates, the UK’s top journalism school.
The course promises to be an exciting and informative introduction to the world of journalism and will be a fantastic addition to your CV.

As part of this programme, The Times are also working with a number of their outreach partners to offer free places to people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Please note, places are limited, and you must be able to attend in person in London Bridge, August 14-18, 2023. The fees are £400, and you must be over 18 to apply. The deadline to apply is Saturday July 15, 2023.
