At News Associates we take pride in our trainees' achievements.
Nothing gives our team of tutors and journalists more satisfaction than hearing a graduate has landed their first job, their first front page or their first dream assignment.
Unless they've beaten us to the story - that ruins any friendship!
We only teach journalism - you won't be competing with pottery classes - which means we remain focussed only the job that matters: getting you to pass and into this exciting rollercoaster industry.
We think we're great but good journalists are taught never to believe what they are told.
Here's what some of our former trainees think - if you want to stand their stories up let us know and we'll pass on their details.
“
News Associates is the college all other journalism colleges should aspire to. The tutors' doors are always open and they are dedicated to making you as close to the finished article as possible.

“
I wanted to break into a career in journalism without taking a year out to study, so the News Associates fast-track course was an obvious choice. It is fast-paced and challenging, but the skills I have picked up have proved invaluable in the workplace. I am now a more confident writer and I'm in stronger position than those in my office who do not have my qualification.
”
Ryan Bailey, FHM

It was an intense five months of hard work. For me the best bit was how hands-on and practical it was - I really enjoyed the challenges we were set to improve our news writing skills and studying at News Associates has definitely helped me in my job.

The only way to survive this course is to live it and breath it. Shorthand is a tough nut to crack but if you put the work in then you will reap the rewards. You just have to work like a dog and never give up.
