Festive fun was had by all in the News Associates camp with both the student and staff parties a roaring success.
The students blazed the trail with a Christmas jumper themed jolly at a local bar in Wimbledon.
There was fierce competition on the best jumper front but the crown went to London trainee Andrew Magee.
In a shock development it was discovered that trainee Jack Zorab owns an unhealthy number of Christmas jumpers, which were shared out among those who tried to buck the fancy dress theme.
The lecturers wore fetching Father Christmas hats and there were snakebites all round on what was a perfect way to let off steam after exam week.
Elsewhere News Associates' staff enjoyed an appropriate three course Christmas meal at the Butcher & Grill, Wimbledon.
This descended into drunken chaos with a mini bar crawl through Wimbledon Village.
The trainees can now look forward to a revision filled Christmas break in advance of their last exams in January 2012. And several of the staff look forward to a teetotal beginning to the new year.
