Nick Webster (News Associates September 09-January 10) wrote an exclusive on a dwarf being thrown by a drunken yob outside a pub in his patch for the Western Gazette two weeks ago.
The story was picked up by various national papers and even mentioned at the Globes, a prestigious American awards ceremony last week.
It was mentioned by dwarf actor Peter Drinklage (Game of Thrones) who urged people to Google Martin Henderson, who was thrown on the floor of a pub in Somerset while celebrating his 37th birthday.
Nick said: “To say it has been a mental week is an understatement – it’s even popped up on the Sydney Morning Herald and Pakistan Daily Times!
“It is another example of my excellent training at News Associates."

Former trainee Katie Holland certainly took on board the importance of using your initiative.
While on work experience for the Daily Post, Rotorua, New Zealand, she came across a vicious assault in the city.
After talking to the victims the story became the front page lead the next day. It was later picked up by the national newspapers and TV.
Katie was offered a position at the Daily Post shortly afterwards.
To the training team at News Associates, Katie said: “Thanks again for all your help getting me here, it's a great feeling to finally be a real reporter!”
