Exams are looming and with just two weeks to go mocks seem to have taken over.

Exams are looming and with just two weeks to go mocks seem to have taken over.

Law, Public Affairs, Shorthand – they were all at it!

When sitting down to write this blog all I could remember was a blur of mock exams, so I asked several people what happened last week? (Apart from the mocks) All I got in return was rather blank faces and the reply of “well, mocks.”

Feverish revision saw the majority of us cramming on trains, trams and some even came in early to brush up. That’s dedication!

When we weren’t mock-ing we were either preparing for the mocks, or getting previous mock feedback.

They actually did take over!

It was time to get our fine tooth combs out – with a feedback session for our previous reporting mock .

We didn’t get out papers back straight away though – as it was feared we would be become far too distracted by why that hit and run pun wasn’t quite the tone they were looking for.

Three and a half hours later the paper was beyond dissected and all anyone could think about was the pile of mocks sat temptingly on the desk beside Andy.

The results may not have been groundbreaking to say the least - but it’s what we learnt from it that counts, right?

Not feeling brave enough to face the Manchester weather, we gave the Christmas markets a miss and chose a warm bar instead for our huge sigh of relief at the end of one a tough week.

It’s safe to say I’m all mocked out.

*How many times does the word ‘mock’ appear in this blog?!
